I was on my way to work, and was stopped in a construction zone on the Interstate. According to reports, a semi going almost full speed, failed to stop and rear ended the vehicle behind me, causing a seven-car chain reaction.

As the result of the wreck, I had a large laceration on my head, a concussion, and broke my back and neck in four places. I have no memory of the accident. After three weeks in the hospital and rehab, I came home in a neck and back brace.

I wore the neck and back brace for four months. I am still in constant pain from my injuries. I have limited movement of my neck and suffer from PTSD and have memory loss of several weeks prior to the wreck and for two weeks after the wreck and still struggle at times to remember the simplest things.

My injuries, from the accident, caused by a negligent semi-truck driver, completely changed my life. The injuries limit my ability to do simplest task around my home, and prevent me from traveling and going places with my family, attending my grandson’s sporting events and activities. It even effected my ability to sit at work all day.

After the trial, the Insurance Company filed an Appeal of the Jury’s ruling. Mike and Brady barely batted an eye and went to work refuting the objections filed by the Defense. It took an additional year, but The Indiana Court of Appeals unanimously upheld the Jury’s ruling.

The last thing anyone plans during the holidays is dealing with the fallout of a horrific automobile accident.
