Stephenson Rife started in Shelbyville, Indiana, and we are proud to call it our home.

Community Involvement

Stephenson Rife is guided by a mission that includes a strong focus on the communities in which we live. Our services have taken us around the nation, but we have made our home in Central Indiana, in Shelby County. It is important for every member of our team to never forget where we came from and to keep those roots strong as we continue to grow.

Here are some of the local organizations we support in Shelbyville, statewide, and beyond.

  • Blue River Soccer Association

The Blue River Soccer Association offers local youth the opportunity to participate in recreational soccer. It is affiliated with Indiana Soccer and shares the goal of making soccer accessible to all.


  • Columbus Ivy Tech Foundation

The Columbus, Indiana campus for Ivy Tech offers unique initiatives that include an aviation program and cybersecurity program. Funds for the Ivy Tech Foundation go towards supporting Hoosiers who want to have access to higher education at an Ivy Tech campus in or near their community. 


  • Dinner Before Bedtime

Luke Williams founded Dinner Before Bedtime with one clear mission: to feed children in Shelbyville and Shelby County who would otherwise go to bed hungry. We have previously sponsored the Dinner Before Bedtime Golf Outing.

  • Girls Inc. of Shelby County

Girls Inc. of Shelby County has one clear mission: to empower and prepare girls so they can be “strong, smart, and bold” as they move forward in life. This mission comes to life through programming that promotes leadership skills and independence and that is designed specifically for young girls and the challenges they face.


  • Indianapolis Bar Foundation

The Indianapolis Bar Foundation, or Indy Bar Foundation, is a charitable organization that brings together members of the Indianapolis legal community to offer a variety of services to the area and the individuals who live there. Focuses include assistance with legal problems for those with limited funds, support for law students, and support for young lawyers.


  • Mainstreet Shelbyville

Mainstreet Shelbyville partners with Indiana Main Street and Main Street America. The organization is dedicated to revitalizing downtown Shelbyville. The overarching goal is to preserve the historic sites in the area while also promoting economic development for community members and local businesses.

The Rotary Club of Shelbyville is an Official Licensee of Rotary International and shares the Rotary mission to unite individuals who want to promote lasting change in their communities. Shelby County United Fund for You, also known as SCUFFY, brings together multiple member agencies. It serves as a hub for distributing charitable funds to local organizations that promote the welfare of Shelby County residents.

Stephenson Rife is proud to be a member of the Shelby County Chamber of Commerce. This organization creates a network of members who learn, earn, and grow together and therefore enhance and improve the community of Shelby County and surrounding areas.

Through the Shelby County Youth Assistance Program (SCYAP), at-risk youth from ages 3-17 can receive early-intervention services. The program offers an alternative to formal and traditional punitive actions. Instead, youths who are referred to SCYAP can receive tutoring, counseling, mentorship, and other support.


  • Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department

Shelbyville Parks and Recreation Department creates opportunities for recreation around the community. They support parks, recreational programs, sports, and special events.

Timmy Global Health is an international nonprofit organization that takes a community-focused approach to healthcare. Their mission is to promote and bring quality, sustainable primary care services to communities around the world.
